The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (1981) require that an employer provide suitable arrangements for rendering First Aid to persons injured at work. This course aims to teach candidates basic first aid skills to enable them to deal with emergency situations involving casualties tailored to their work environment. They will learn how to manage the situation, get expert help and offer life saving emergency aid as well as how to deal with the less serious and more common daily injuries and conditions they are likely to meet in their daily working environment.

Includes both Class Practice and Observations. Covering areas such as Recovery Position, Infant & Life Support, Choking and Allergies. This course will be followed by Questions and Answers.
