This training covers the Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations (as amended) 1997 and the Fire Precautions Act 1971. It requires an employer to assess the suitability of measures currently in place to protect people from the risk of fire. The employer is required by law to provide suitable training for those members of staff who are responsible for assisting in the fire evacuation procedure in the workplace. This course covers the essential knowledge that is needed for this role.

A one-day programme designed for anyone with a responsibility to conduct risk assessments. The course aims to provide delegates with knowledge and practical skills to improve their competency in carrying out general risk assessments under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1992.

This half day course raises awareness of the health risks from contaminated sharps and teaches how to handle and dispose of such items safely and legally. It includes practical training in the safe methods of handling sharps and emergency procedures for minimising risk following needlestick injury. Any persons who may in the course of their work encounter syringes, discarded needs etc should attend this training.
