In line with the revised First Aid Guidance issued on 1st October 2009.  This half-day refresher course is for those who completed a 3-day or 1-day First Aid at Work. Ideal to keep your first aiders updated.

Who is this course suitable for 

The half-day course is available to any first-aider who is still within the three-year certification period. This course covers essential techniques for administering life-saving procedures.

This three hour First Aid course provides first aiders with an opportunity to practise and update their skills as a qualified first aider, at any time while their first aid certificate is valid.

Course Aims

This 3-hour First Aid Annual Refresher course follows the HSE syllabus and helps first aiders practice, update and refresh their skills. It also keeps them up-to-date with the latest guidelines.

With all subjects covered in just half a day, this course is an ideal way to satisfy HSE requirements whilst minimising disruption to your organisation’s day-to-day activities!

First Aid Annual Refresher – Assessment

The course is subject to ongoing assessment by the instructor throughout the course. There is no final assessment. The instructor watches closely as learners practice to ensure they understand and have the necessary skills.

Certification

Upon successful completion of the First Aid Annual Refresher course, each learner will receive a first aid certificate which is valid for 1 year.
