This week a number of staff were awarded their Health & Safety certificates at the Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust for completing training. Achievers enjoyed tea and biscuits, whilst Dr Doug Charlton, Director of Nursing & Midwifery congratulated and thanked staff for their efforts.
Health & Safety delivered at Liverpool Women’s Hospital
Mark Cody, Director of Training Course Solutions, whose Company delivered Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), Display Screen Equipment (DSE) for Assessors and Health and Safety awareness training sessions, was also in attendance and kindly sponsored refreshments.
The training programme was organised by Tracy Bryning (Health & Safety Manager at the Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust) and was delivered to the Liverpool Women’s Hospital over a 4 week period.
Mark Cody, Director of Training Course Solutions (Training Solutions North West) said it was a great success and Health and Safety is not about ‘ticking boxes’ but more about apply knowledge and skills in the workplace to make it a safe environment for everyone’.
The training was delivered to a number of departments at the hospital including Genetics, Gynaecology, Ante Natal Clinic, Theatres and Estates.
