Fire Warden Training in the North West – Employers who have a team of staff or invite the public to their premises must meet certain legal requirements. Among these requirements, they need to have trained fire marshals, also known as “Fire Wardens,” and established procedures for emergency evacuations of their premises. This ensures the safety of everyone in the workplace in the event of a fire or other emergency.

This course ensures that your Fire Wardens are acting competently and in accordance with good practices and any specific company procedures. We can deliver this course directly in your workplace up to 6 – 12 delegates for a group cost of only £560.00 +Vat. We can allocate a maximum number of 12 persons per course which will take place at your premises. On completion of the course, each participant will receive a certificate of attendance valid for 3 years.

The number of Fire Wardens required will be identified by your Fire Risk Assessment.

You need to ensure you have enough Fire Wardens to cover your business in the event of a fire. If you work in a small unit, you may only need 2 Fire Wardens but if you have a larger business with more than 1 floor then you will need to ensure you have cover for each floor and building for all of the shifts, accounting for lunch breaks, sickness and holiday cover.

The training is a comprehensive practical course for those who have a responsibility for tackling small fires, assisting with staff evacuation and for those who help formulate Company Fire Procedures.

Course aims:
The Fire Warden Training will present an insight into fire regulations and general fire precautions. It aims to provide you with the knowledge and skills to carry out your role as a Fire Warden. The attendees of the course will gain an understanding of the fundamentals of fire safety and reducing the risk of fire in their workplace.

Fire Warden Training – Assessment and Certification:
Candidates will be continually assessed during the Fire Warden Training by the course tutor. On successfully completing the course candidates will receive a certificate of attendance which is valid for three years.
