Please Note:
All requalifying First Aiders must have previously attended a First Aid at Work course.
Candidates must supply their previous FAW qualification details before attending the course. Participation onto the course will only be granted to those with a valid certificate.
This FAW requalification can be taken up to 3 months before the date of expiry of your current FAW certificate.
First aid at work re-qualification Level 3 Award
This First Aid at Work re-qualification is based on the HSE training standard for delivery of first aid at work courses
The course will equip learners to attain the knowledge and competencies needed to deal with a range of emergency situations. Delegates should be able to demonstrate the practical application of safe, prompt and effective first aid in an emergency situation. This course caters for higher risk environments.
Who Should Attend
This course is for delegates who hold a first aid at work qualification and need to renew their first aid at work qualification for another three years. Furthermore, in order to continue to act as a first aider in the workplace.
Where no evidence of refresher training is produced, delegates would need to attend a 3-day course. The 28 day period of grace following certificate expiry will no longer exist. Furthermore, once certificates expire, delegates are no longer qualified.
Should a delegate’s current certificate have expired, the delegate will need to attend a first aid at work 3-day course.
